April Meeting Highlights!
Welcome to the Chapter!
Four new Alums attended the meeting.
Sisters, Debra Dixon, Robbie Sims and Angel Rush attended along with Keith Hammonds.
The meeting was held at a new venue, Piccadilly’s on Memorial Drive.
The next chapter meeting will be held June 8th at the home of Darryl Frazier.

Deadline to vote is midnight, Wednesday, April 24th.
The birthday cake for the January through April birthdays was delicious!
ASU DeKalb Scholarship Committee is preparing to award a scholarship
to a deserving band member from the Metro Area.
On April 28th, we will support the Georgia Steppers League College Fair at Fayette County High School.
Membership will continue the same incentive program for the next fiscal year.
Pay by July and reap the benefits! Car flags and magnets were some ideas solicited from the members.
Purchase cushions ($10), Cups ($1) and/or towels ($3) now!
The Public Relations Committee is already planning for
football season and Homecoming.
Homecoming is October 19, 2013.
A block of 10 rooms at the Hampton Inn are available under Maria Boynton’s name for DeKalb Members.
Make your reservation now. These rooms will not last long!

Our goal is to raise $50K, so we can raise awareness of the needs of Alumni and the University, support students and athletics and to actively engage members of the ASU Family that have not preciously been involved with the Alumni Association.
Reserve your seats now for a day trip to Creek Casino in Montgomery on May 18th.
$35 reserves your seat. Receive a $15 meal voucher. Bus leaves at 8AM from 285/Cascade Kroger Lot.

Positive feedback about the venue was received by the members who remained and ate lunch with us! We will continue to utilize Piccadilly as a meeting place.
